A lovely CL
We have just returned from 2 weeks at Golyfa Penberry view CL and will be returning! The site has good sized marked out spaces on level ground on a large well-kept field with fab views in this wonderful area of Pembrokeshire. Open space and clear views to Carn Penberry and Carn Llidi and even distant views of the sea on both north and south sides of the peninsula highlights how well placed it is for exploring the area. It was central to get to all our favourite spots - Porthgain, Solva, Porthclais, Caerfai and the wonderful coastal paths to name just some. And St. David’s is only around 5 miles away. Look out for concerts held at the Cathedral and don’t miss Mamgu’s welsh cakes at the cathedral refectory as well as the interesting cathedral itself, of course.
On clear evenings we had some wonderful views of the sun setting from our caravan to complete our day.
The site is really easy to get to off the A487. Foolishly we followed our satnavs directions through some narrow lanes on the way there but it wasw so much easier returning.
Euros was a great CL host. He kept the grass well cut and the rubbish and disposable area clean and tidy. Thank you Euros we’ll see you again next year.
