A well appointed CL

A newly opened CL that isn’t in the book yet. For this reason, print off or memorise the online directions or have them on a mobile device. The final directions and signage are from the south of Pershore off the B4084 Evesham Worcester road onto the road that leads to the site and the villages of Great and Little Comberton. If approaching from either of these villages, drive past the postcode location and turn left into the site shortly before the left hand turn into Pensham Hill road (that leads to Pensham) and where the road bends right towards the B4084. A security code is required from the owner to gain access. An information sheet with an allocated pitch number should be in a box. All five super pitches are large sunny hard standings facing West over an expansive grassy field that is part of the site. The field/site has attractive mature trees and hedging along its edge which provide screening from the owner’s property and from the local Comberton road. The only traffic noise is from this road. The £20 fee includes the first 16 units of metered electricity. We used less than half of this but would have used more if it had been cold or wet. Our omni-directional Maxview motorhome aerial couldn’t get a reliable TV signal and the on-site Wi-Fi didn’t work for us but the owner is hoping to improve this. There is excellent walking from the site along paths to the River Avon and Pershore as well as the local countryside and there are good cycling opportunities with cycle route 442 passing the site. Pershore is an attractive market town with a river frontage, an abbey, Georgian architecture, places to eat and drink, plenty of shops including an Asda in the centre and a regular bus service to Worcester and Evesham which are both worth visiting. There are several NT properties close by including the excellent Croome Park which can be reached by bike. This is a good site to stay for a few days.
