We’ve recently stayed 5 nights at Gorphwysfa and were very sorry to leave this peaceful and tranquil site with lovely views and it really is a hidden gem. Phil and Sue made us extremely welcome and nothing was too much trouble all the time we were there. The toilet block / shower was immaculate with plenty of hot water. TV reception was also very good. Gorphwysfa is also ideally situated to visit Cemlyn Nature Reserve, Cemaes, Amlwch and Parys Mountain and only 15 minutes away from Holyhead where there are major supermarkets. A large field next to the site is used for dog walking which is also a plus. Free range eggs are also available to buy from Phil and Sue and they are delicious! This is one of the best CLs we have stayed at (and we’ve stayed at many over the years) and we’ve just booked for a further 5 nights in June.
