Yoghurt and ice cream to die for!
This quiet rural CL is set on a local dairy Pointens which produces the most marvellous yoghurt, cream and ice cream products which you can buy on site at very reasonable prices from Roger, the owner (ice cream was £3.75 for a 1L tub). The previous review mentions poor toilet disposal facilities, this is no longer the case with hosepipe and easy access. The farm is 8.5 miles from Blakeney harbour which is a wonderful tourist attraction and Cley marshes for birders. Holt is just 3 miles away with Sheringham and Cromer next stop. There is a very classy farm shop and cafe just round the corner at Thornage. This is a little piece of heaven set in the north norfolk countryside and deserves our support. Not many of this type of site are left now. We needed a battery charge on arrival and Roger was very helpful in putting it on charge overnight so that our weekend was unspoilt.
