We used this site in 2006 when it was certificated by another club. Over the years the owners have carried out many improvements and it is now idyllic. Annette is a great hostess and looks after the facilities with care, and Malcolm is an agreeable host too when around.
The local pub was without a chef during our stay, so we were unable to eat there, but a short drive gets you to the Hand and Diamond, the other side of Crew Green, which is excellent albeit a tad pricey - reservations for Sunday lunch are essential.
Good walking area, including quite a few that can be done from site. Bus stops outside on route to Shrewsbury and Oswestry, but English concession holders need to be aware that you will be expected to pay as this location is in Wales.
