Lovely quiet site

Came to stay for a coup!e of days for the International Air Tattoo, we were warmly welcomed by Richard and Julie who provided lots of excellent information on the area. The information hut was very useful for local places. Service pitch with individual water points and Elsan conveniently located without being obtrusive. I had inadvertently booked too many nights and Julie returned the overpayment as we left. Hoping to be back again.

Great Few Days In The Cotslolds

Had a great few nights at Orchard Lodge in Bibury. Richard and Julie were very friendly and provided us with some useful information. The local pub the Catherine Wheel has great food and is well within walking distance. Bibury was charming and we did Richard's 3 mile hike finishing up with a lovely cream tea at the Swan Hotel. Very central for access to the Cotswold villages and sites. The camping ground was perfect with good pitches, each with power and water - nearby black water disposal. Highly recommend

A gem of a site.

This is a little gem of a site. Very easy to get to and only a short walk to Bibury and a 10 mile drive to Cirencester. A very warm welcome from the owner who supplied us with maps for walking in the area. WiFi was very good and free though TV reception was poor on our pitch. A lovely quiet site, adult only and best of all no dogs! Will certainly return when we are next in the area.

Outstanding CL site

Right from the booking to arrival, the information provided by the owners was high quality. Thanks to the information provided by the owners the site was easy to find, from the notice board at the entrance we quickly identified our pitch. Soon after setting up Julie kindly introduced herself and provided maps detailing walks close to the site etc. Fresh vegetables can also be purchased from the owners at a very reasonable cost and has been grown on their land. The site was quiet and suited our purpose perfectly, will definitely  be returning as there is so much to see local to the site. Best CL site we have stayed on to date

So Peaceful

Fabulous site and so peaceful. We love having our own water tap too. Wonderful welcome. Site is in a great location for visiting the Cotswolds. We walked into Bibury where there is a pub and hotel with lovely outside area. The information hut is well presented with plenty of details for where to eat, visit etc Magazines are a lovely touch as was the form that can be used to order fresh veg/salad from the garden We will definitely be staying here again Highly recommended

Excellent site …super owners

We stayed in the Lodge site which was hardstanding, level and perfectly well spaced. There was lots of local info in the information hut and WiFi connection was good. We enjoyed our walks into the beautiful village of Bibury for coffee at the Trout farm. Peter and Julie were extremely helpful as the main purpose for our visit was to explore the area for relocation. They offered their valued local knowledge in abundance. Such lovely friendly owners. We will definitely be returning.

Beautiful and peaceful site

Stayed for 2 nights for a wedding in the village, we had a lovely welcome to a well manicured and quiet site, 15 minutes to walk to the centre of Bibury,. Looking forward to a longer stay in the future to explore more of the surrounding countryside. Would very much recommend.

Excellent Site

We stayed for two weeks in May and on arrival were greeting by friendly and enthusiastic owners, who gave us lots of information on local amenities and places of interest, especially helpful were the walking maps provided. The site is well appointed and kept to a high standard, we would highly recommend a stay here for access to the Cotswolds.

An absolute gem of a site!

From turning up to leaving, my 2 day stay was fantastic. Peter the host couldn't be more helpful and was happy for me to book extra days (subject to pitch availability) at the drop of a hat. The site is immaculate with water and power to each pitch and free wifi that actually worked! If I'm ever in the area again then I'll be back - Top marks 10/10!
