Great site for the money!

I see someone has complained about the chicken farm dirt track, as being very very busy, well we have been going for a few years now and unless it has changed into the M1 since we last went then no way can it be described as very very busy in our opinion. Yes, there is traffic and yes after dry periods the track is dusty, but it is a track not a tarmac road. On occasions they collect the eggs, people drive to tend to their horses & tractors farm the fields, all using the track, so it is used but what do people expect? Yes dogs are not able to roam freely & should be on a lead, especially because that’s where they should be, on a lead at all times, so that’s good from our point of view and safety for children? It’s as safe as your parenting skills, if they play near the dirt track then yes it’s not safe, but neither is the M1? It’s as safe as you make it. So, all in all this is in fact a good site, it’s a CL remember, but we would advise that you don’t go if you can’t control your children, or want your dogs to roam freely all over the site and leave us to enjoy the site children and dog free!

Thank you for this very balanced and informative review.  It helped us to decide to come here, we prefer simple peaceful basic sites, exactly what this one is.  And…. Thanks for giving us a laugh too…
