Really restful site.

It’s a good site which is kept clean and tidy. The shower and toilet is kept clean, the shower is hot and has safety rails. Love the peace and quiet and watching the new lambs playing. It’s in the middle of some lovely towns, Garstang, Poulton, etc. we found a new farm shop close by too. If you want a no hassle site this will be the one for you.

A nice week's holiday

Had a nice week's holiday here, the site is clean and well run and ideally placed for visiting the attractions of the area. We would return if in the area in future.

One night stay :)

Nice little site, it was the ideal stopover for me to visit family in Preston and it was close to the M6 The site is clean, tidy, and has level pitches.

Just a lovely CL

Been to this CL quite a few times since it opened and love coming back. Super attentive owners and nothing too much trouble. The site is ver neat and tidy with water and electricity to each pitch. Great recycling facilities and lovely clean toilet and shower. Great walks along the Lancaster Canal and lots to do in the area. Would recommend the Plough at Eaves just up the road, very friendly country pub. Will definitely be back to this site.

Great little site

We love this CL, its very neat, well kept and easy to use. Ehu right where you need it, waste etc a few steps away. There is now even a little cafe 20 yards away and their hot chocolate was perfection itself! If you want pubs there are some nearby plus a highly recommended Indian restaurant which does takeaway at nearby Barton.

We spent a very pleasant weekend at this CL. The site is well laid out and well maintained with level pitches served by individual EHU and freshwater taps. The site is on a quiet country road with minimal traffic making it a safe option for walking to and from the canal which is less than half a mile away and opens up plenty of walking options - there are numerous other footpaths but this was only a short stay so we didn’t get chance to try other options. There are at least two pubs within walking distance and a cafe adjacent to the site that does very nice cakes. Communication prior to our visit was very clear, we booked on line and received instant confirmation followed by more detailed information about the site and the area. No contact during our stay but we prefer it this way and I am confident that had we needed anything the owners would have responded - we had a mobile number for them. All in all a great CL and one that we will return to

Stopover

We’ve stayed here a couple of times on our way from Scotland to the ferry, for which it’s ideal for us and with the bonus of a good sized field to walk the dog. We were very impressed with the amount of information emailed to us prior to arrival, listing things to do, places to visit and where to eat, and how to get there. It would be great if more sites did that. Very professional and helpful. Also, the online availability and booking system was very useful.

Great Little Site

Can highly recommend. Very Peaceful. Good pitches. Ideal situation for us. Andy is very helpful. Will be staying again soon.

Nice Sute

Nice well kept site with lovely owner Andy. It is very peaceful and relaxing plus a reasonable rate with EHU.
