Fabulous and peaceful CL
This was our first time on a CL, and in only the second weekend since campsites opened up again after lockdown. What a fantastic site! Easy to get to (though avoid Sutton Bank if arriving by caravan, our VW camper made it up just!), accessible to nearby Helmsley, but so quiet and peaceful. At night we could only hear the wildlife!
We took our bikes and used the site as a base for some local riding. Great off road routes minutes from the site!
Definitely converts to CLs, a brilliant first experience!
