Superb and cared for cl.

Harts farm cl review August 2019 This is a really lovely CL, long established and treasured by its owners. The entrance is up a badly potholed drive, but on arrival you will find an immaculately cut (and collected) lawned area, with views of the beautiful thatched house and gardens, and 3 really good sized flat hardstandings, well spaced out in addition to 2 grass pitches, again allowed lots of room. The fresh water, CDP and bins are all very handy, with a number of power points around the field. There are a complete set of well labelled recycling and rubbish bins. The owners are lovely and greet new arrivals. The electricity supply is metered. Despite initial concerns we found after 10 days in August we used less than one pound a day, so in addition to the nightly fee it was really good value, and fair to boot. There is good free Wi-fi, very useful. We heard a little daytime road noise, if you are sensitive to that as we are, but it wasn't intrusive, and none at night. The owners have a small seasonal caravan area beyond the CL, but well screened from it and not at all intrusive. We cycled around, and the only downside of the site was the road outside, which was busy and fast, despite being a small rural road. Once off this road, there are lots of small lanes nearby, and lovely heathland areas to explore. Both Poole and Bournemouth areas have very good cycle paths, (don't miss Upton Country Park) and Wimbourne minster is charming. We found the drivers in the Bournemouth area quite aggressive and impatient. A really good, reasonable Launderette is in West Moors. Overall this is a superb Cl, and good value too!
