Fantastic site

We stayed her for a week and had a really lovely time. If you are after quiet and beauty you can not go wrong staying here. The owners were really nice, friendly and helpful. The site was well maintained and spacious. The site is located on the edge of the village and it is easy to get the daily bus into Stalham, Great Yarmouth, Norwich (excluding Sunday) For car owners it is a fantastic base to explore North East of Norfolk. The broads is within a 10minute walk, and we spent a lot of time watching the boats coming and going. There is a lot of wildlife around the area, as well as a nature reserve, this is definitely a photographers dream. In the village there are two pubs, The Greyhound (Hickling Green) and The Pleasure Boat Inn (Hickling Broad) Both pubs serve really lovely food., but if you are walking home from either pub after dark do take a torch!! There is no shop in Hickling as such, although you may get basic essentials at "The Pleasure Boat Inn" who do have a little shop café open all day. Stalham is 3miles away and we had a lovely bike ride on lovely quite roads where there is a Tesco's, butchers, greengrocers and several newsagents plus other cute shops and pubs. We highly recommend this site and will definitely visit again.
