Quirky site

You'll find John Kent, the owner, through the hole in the hedge. He'll tell you to set up and he'll pop over later, which he did; friendly, accommodating and happy to chat. The grass had been recently mown, the toilets (bring your own paper) and shower were a little tired but perfectly serviceable, not that we needed them as we're self-contained. Someone was doing a little after-work diy the other side of the hedge but soon gave up and we had a quiet, good night's sleep. Thank you John.

Disappointed

Had booked a pitch on this site 10 days in advance. On arrival site was over full. Our pitch had been given to another caravan. Had to find alternative site.  Won't be visiting this one again.

A Norfolk Gem

Absolutely cracking site, with lovely uninterrupted views of farmland to look over and watch the sun set. We had one night here, and picked it because of its close proximity to The Bure valley cycle path. We enjoyed our bike ride, especially to Wroxham, and found Heath farm a perfect place to relax that evening. Very quiet, well maintained and an absolute bargain. Will certainly return.

The Bure Valley cycle track is wonderful by the way, completely off road and and runs alongside a working steam railing. Absolutely lovely.

Value for money

A well kept if basic site - but what do you expect for £9??? (Gone up from £8.50) John, the owner is very friendly and helpful. Need to take out your vehicle to access the many local places of interest, although if you are able to walk to Buxton, there is a local bus service to Norwich - from there, you can get anywhere. PS We used the shower and it was fine - wouldn't fancy it in the winter though!!

Lovely little cl

If you follow the instructions given and turn into sandy lane from coltishall road entering this cl is  easy, if you come the other way and have a larger van you will need to drive past and turn round. The site is level and tidy, owner pleasant and friendly. The site is quiet and has open views across fields on two sides, shower and toilet facilities were adequate but the height of the waste water disposal could cause problems if it's to heavy. We would recommend this site and will hopefully visit again.

Difficult to find. It grew on us.

Really difficult to find from their directions. Don't approach from wrong direction, you wont be able to turn in to gateway. After a couple of days it grew on us. Very peaceful apart from the noise in the evening from a nearby garage. very basic facilities, didn't use the shower ( ugh! ) using our own in van. Would not go back.
