Lovely Peaceful Site

We have just stayed here for two nights and we were delighted with the site. There are lovely views of the Welsh hills and the site is so peaceful. It is well away from the main roads and so no traffic noise and yet it is easily accessible and well signposted. The site itself is very well maintained and the facilities are well positioned. We will certainly stay again as this is on our favourite CLs list!

Peace and relaxation guaranteed

A pretty little paddock sited off a narrow lane Beside a red brick farm, Where slopes and sheltering hedge help tame prevailing winds and rain- A place of peace and calm. A brace of noble fir trees whisper gently in the breeze Below the wide Welsh skies, With wonderous views beyond them, patchwork fields, and hills, and trees- Above, a buzzard flies. I gaze out of my window over clover-studded lawns, And let my mind roam free Across this rich and verdant place, which wraps me in its arms, And brings such peace to me.

Tranquil, peaceful, scenic.

Title pretty much sums it up, spent three nights here, could hear the proverbial pin drop. It was an absolute joy. Will certainly visit again. Took the advice of a fellow member who visits on a regular basis and took the route through the industrial estate on leaving, misses Denbigh town centre out. (Couple of pinch point's)

What a Gem

Our first visit to this site and what a gem. Beautiful, well kept site with wonderful views and just so, so peaceful. The owners, Ifor and Edna were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend. John & Carole Visited 11/11/21 to 16/11/21

Stunning

our maiden trip in our new (to us) van, our last one we outgrew 25 years ago. We anticipated a lot and weren't disappointed. Beautiful site, manicured grass, gorgeous views, blissfully quiet and so so peaceful. Easy to find the site and we had lovely weather too. Denbigh with all it's shops and supermarkets is only 3 miles away. Enjoyed watching the birds and the squirrels. There's a woodland walk just across from the site which goes down to a river, its not very long but worth a meander. We don't want lots of facilities or entertainment a quiet CL suits us perfectly and this site definitely ticked all the boxes. Booked 2 nights initially but stayed for 3 as we were enjoying the tranquility so much. Will definitely go again. Highly recommended.

Lovely.

What an absolute JEM. Stayed for seven nights, wish it could have been more. Great views lovely and quiet, just what we wanted. We will definitely stay again. Mr and Mrs Ellis are a lovely couple and Mr Ellis as a semi retired farmer works to hard. Richard and Kathleen Hollick

barrie and val rostron

We discovered this site several years ago and have been regular visitors ever since. The grass is always well kept and the views are lovely. Ifor and Edna are really pleasant and always help if we have a problem. The is so much to visit in the area - Llandudno, Bangor, Conway, Carnarfon on the coast and inland Bala, Barmouth and many others. We like to visit other sites but this is undoubtedly our favourite. We cannot recommend it enough .

A Walkers Paradise

Visited for 10 nights during the Spring Bank Holiday week. Friendly welcome from Mr & Mrs Ellis on our first visit to this immaculate site. Explained that we love walking and Mrs Ellis loaned a couple of walking books for the week. Without these we possibly would not have discovered the Clwydian Hills in the local Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Completed 5 walks in book one and 3 in book 2. What a fantastic week. We will be back.
