A Peaceful Haven
Stayed here for 4 nights in early August 2021. A very warm welcome from the hosts. Incredibly peaceful sight close to Buxton Heath and its natural wonders. Great cycling country with miles and miles of quiet lanes just waiting to be explored.
Yes the site is quite sandy - it's outdoors and is next to a heathland. The sandiness is a very good thing as there were thundery showers when I was there and this meant that the site drained very quickly.
