Perfect

This was our second visit and have already booked to return next year. This site is perfect, with spacious pitches, secure, peaceful and ideally situated for visiting the local area. Dog walkers will love the nearby footpaths leading down to the local beach and nature reserve. The site is very well run and maintained to an extremely high standard. Just perfect......

One of the best CL sites we have been on. Excellent

Most of the things I want to say have already been said by previous reviews. I am a little late with my review because we, my good lady and myself stayed there for 10 nights just after Easter from 11th April to the 21st just about the end of all the rain we had. John had prepared a hard standing area because the site was a little waterlogged he assisted us to get set up supplying extra water house and drainage. That was the start of a very warm and helpful welcome from John and Kim which continued through the full stay. It was excellent for my walking always some were different to go if I wanted. Plenty of nearby places to visit such as Scarborough/ Whitby and places in between. All in all excellent site pleasant stay. definitely a place to return to.

Excellent site

First time we have ever stayed on a CL and what a lovely site with fully serviced pitches. FIrst class location for dog owners virtually across the road from Danes Dyke. Easy walking to Flamborough village either by footpath or across fields. A lovely walk into Bridlington via the golf course or cliff top. All in all a great location and not forgetting the very warm welcome you will get from John, Kim and Spud the dog. We had such a good time that we have booked for two weeks next year. Janet and Ian.

We will be returning!

HIGH BREAME CL FLAMBROUGH REVEIW This is an adults only site with 5 fully serviced (EHU, waste and water on pitch) grass pitches for £17 per night. If you do not have the equipment for serviced pitches John (cl owner) will lend you a waste and water pipe. Not sure if there would be any extra charge for this as we have our own but nice that he has these. The site has a toilet and shower onsite that looked spotless but did not use the shower as we use our own so don't know what it is like but looked like a really nice shower and I believe there is a £2 per night fee to use these. The site itself is opposite Danes Dyke nature reserve about 1 mile from Bridlington CAMC with a bus stop a 2 minuite walk. A locked gate is at the entrance (you are given a key when you arrive) and cctv so is very secure. From Danes Dyke you can walk along the clifftop to either Bridlington or Flambrough Lighthouse. We walked to Bridlington and even though it is about 5 miles it is an easy walk however 1.5 miles into the walk you are in Sewerby where you can then get the land train if you want. Even though this cl is on the main Bridlington to Flambrough road you do not notice the road noise and we have had a very peaceful and relaxing 3 days. We enjoyed our stay so much we booked again to go back in a few weeks time.

Lovely CL

We visited High Breame CL for the first time and we got a lovely welcome, nothing was too much trouble for John. The site is ideally located for walks in either direction from the gate, to the left you can walk to Flamborough and beyond to the coast, whilst to the right you can walk to Danes Dyke and beyond to Sewerby and Bridlington. The site is very well kept with trimmed grass, the pitches are generous and all serviced with water, waste and electricity. High Breame is also nice and secure with a pair of sturdy gates at the entrance, the field is almost level so no awning issues. I can recommend this lovely CL site.

Perfect pitch

Just returned from High Bream were we spent 7 nights . We have stayed here before and in fact stayed many years ago when under previous ownership . The site is very secure ,entered through a locked gate ,Has toilet and shower facilities and is a field of about 1 acre which is not far from level . No need to worry though as John provides levelling boards for each pitch . There is also water and waste connections for each pitch . John goes to great lengths to make sure everyone is well catered for. In fact on our last visit we went on a hard standing pitch a little further away from tap and drain . But undeterred John appeared with lengths of waste pipe and ensured we were sorted. Nothing is too much trouble for John and Kim . Such a lovely and accomadating couple . Thanks for our stay . We will be back.Credit to you both .

Love it...

Had a three night stay on this CL site 12th - 15th October 2017. easy to find and gates were opened prior to our arrival after a quick call to say we were ten minutes away. large lockable gates keep you feeling safe and secure. Perfect location with very easy access on foot to the coastal path just a brief walk away allowing miles of coastline to be explored. Lots of wildlife to be seen. This site is made even better by its hosts. easy to talk to and knowledgable about local area/attractions... and i was even allowed to hold and photograph Olly the resident barn owl... Pitches fully serviced which is always a bonus. Would I go back??.... definitely... Steve and Lou

Perfect!

Returned home today after staying at High Breame for 12 nights sept/October. What a wonderful CL. Best we have ever stayed on. Wonderful location. Close to some beautiful walks and the delightful village of Flamborough which has a selection of small shops and pubs all doing good food. Few minutes drive from Bridlington and other places of interest. We completed some headland walks with stunning scenery and the starting point is easily walkable from the site. We could not fault this site, the location, the facilities and it is peaceful, extremely secure and immaculately kept. John and Kim are so friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and they will go out of their way to explain the walks and local area. They make you feel right at home from the moment you get there to when you leave. The facilities are great with each pitch having water electric and waste. We throughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning. In fact we didn't want to leave! Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

Lovely site and lovely owners

We visited here for a weekend stay and the weather was rather mixed. As we have a Motorhome when we booked the site 3 months earlier we explained that we had a Motorhome so we were told we would be out on a pitch at the top of the site. However, when we arrived the only pitch available was number one at the bottom of the site. Like previous reviews this pitch was big enough for us but a car, caravan and awning might have struggled. As heavy rain was forecast on our last night we asked the owner John if we could move to the top pitch for the last night as it was now free. This was not a problem and boards were also provided by each pitch for this purpose. John and Kim could not do enough for us, they were extremely helpful and friendly explaining where the best dog walks etc were and where we might spot some deer in the fields opposite. On our last day John brought out his barn owl to fly and show to anyone interested. He was very knowledgeable on Ollie the owl and let my husband hold him, which my husband said was the high-light of his weekend! We would definitely return here, it was great for our dogs with Danes Dyke just across the road too. The only thing we would ensure is that there was a pitch available at the top of the site with us having a Motorhome to ensure we don't get stuck. All in all a lovely site, lovely owners and a lovely stay. Thanks John and Kim
