Always a well kept and peaceful site. with a warm welcome!

Our 3rd visit to the site and as always a delight whatever the time of year. The views are great and the site is very peaceful and well kept. We find it difficult to understand why anyone would complain about the grass being cut as it is for the benefit of the units staying on site, especially as the grass is collected unlike a lot of others! Well done Jo and family, we will be back with Peggy the Goldie who loves the space and walks.

A very wet and windy cornish holiday

We have just returned form nearly a fortinights holiday in this lovely. quiet site with lovely views. Its just a shame that we have nearly the full fortnight of wind and rain! The outside space around our caravan would have been lovely for our granddaughters had they been able to play out without drowning or been blown away. The site was centrally situated to visit all of cornwall. We will return on our next visit to Cornwall

Very nicely kept site

Higher Eathorne Farm is a very nicely kept site with the grass cut short and the pitches each with E.H.U. are well spaced apart. There are views in the distance of Goonhilly Downs and the English Channel off The Lizard. Six alpacas live in the adjoining field and regularly grazed within about twelve yards of our van. There is also an owl house which was perhaps sixty or eighty yards down the field and we often saw owls flying over our van at dusk hunting in the surrounding fields. The site is very quiet and we heard no noise at all from vehicles at night time. Penryn and Falmouth are a short drive away with supermarkets, fuel and takeaways. Most of the west Cornwall towns and beaches are about half an hours drive or a little more away. We noticed a restaurant about one and a half miles way but didn't try it due to us having two dogs. The owner of the CL who lives beside the site is a friendly pleasant person who greets you warmly on arrival and then leaves you to enjoy the site. We would certainly return when we visit the area again.

Beautiful site

Our satnav wanted to take us up some very narrow lanes so just as well we paid attention to the directions. Lovely spacious site with pitches ranged arround edge to enjoy extensive views. Well maintained and mown with added bonus of watching the alpaccas in adjoining field. There is also an owl box in a nearby field where I saw two barn owls. Plenty of footpaths in the area but some are rather overgrown. Very pleasant stay. Highly recommended.

Quiet, Idyllic, Friendly, stunning views can't wait to go again

We simply didn't want to leave! This is a stunning site, beautifully mown areas and wildlife havens as well, a stunning Bronze Age monument, views to the sea in the instance and Goonhilly downs. The resident alpacas were an absoloute delight and some will eat carrots straight from your hand if you are lucky. Great walks nearby for the dogs. Lovely and quiet location wth everything you need in easy reach. Friendly and helpful site owner. We can't wait to go again soon.

Nice stay.

Had a little struggle to find the place and got on a very narrow lane.  But the site is a nice field with good views and inquisitive alpacas in the next field.  Falmouth is a great place to visit and nice areas around Helford.

VERY PEACEFUL

This was a nice quiet site made all the more relaxing by being able to watch the alpacas in the next field.  Owners were friendly and helpful.

not too easy to find

I have just spent ten days at Higher Eathorne Farm and enjoyed every minute. Spacious pitches, well mown. peaceful, good outlook. A very nice CL. but I did have difficulty finding the place at first. The owner is a nice pleasant lady, welcoming and helpful. I would certainly reccommend anyone to visit this CL.

A rural CL with lovely views.

This is a lovely CL with views of beautiful countryside, the sea in the distance and an ajoining field of 6 alpacas. The large pitches are well spaced and mown with plenty of room for caravan, awning and car. The site is near to several beautiful gardens. We visited Trebah Gardens twice as the ticket is valid for constant return visits within one week. This was useful as it started raining heavily the first time we visited so we returned another day when it was warm and sunny. We will definitely return to this CL next time we want to visit the area.

Last holiday of this year

This was a very nice site and easy to find. We had some nice days and the view over the fields to the sea was superb. The alpacas in the next field were friendly. It was only a few miles from a large Asda which was novel for most of these sites. We're used to at least a 7 mile each way trip to the nearest shop. We would recommend it and would go back.
