Easy to find, close enough Longridge for shops, but far enough away to be totally quiet on a night. Large field, the grass may have been a bit long for some, but I would rather it be long than bring grass cuttings into the caravan, comments re 4x4 required not really a problem when we arrived (late May) there was no sign of any grass damage and it did rain before we left, again no problems. Could be different after long period of rain, but same could be said for most grass fields. Ideal location for touring area with plenty of walks and local interest, Blackpool in striking distance, that’s dancing in the tower ballroom for us, get a reduced rate through club membership offers. Tap had decent pressure and hozelock connect as it becoming the norm these days and makes connection simple, toilet disposal was manhole again all efficient, what more can you ask for £12 per night.
