On this site pitches 3 to 5 are in what looked like a lovely area on the right of the drive. On the left side behind the house and adjacent to a farm building are pitches 1 and 2 on a grubby piece of ground. We were given pitch 2 which was covered in dog poo. When we pointed this out to the owner she replied that she had 5 dogs and had not cleared up that day yet. It was obvious to us that the area hadn't been cleared for a long time and poo was well trodden into the pitch. There were also a number of in use rat holes around the pitch.We did not stay and would advise when you book not to accept pitch 1 or 2.
