Great basic rural CL
Two wonderful nights here. It's a lovely area with good views across fields and across to hills. The site is shared with sheep but the parking area is mowed and fairly flat. Being in a motorhome we required no other facilities so didn't look for the tap. We also emptied at home though facilities are available.
It's worth being aware that the access is not the gateway to Lloyds Engineering but the partly concealed lane just a little further along the very quiet lane then through a gate that displays the CC sign and up through an orchard.
We enjoyed a decent walk up to the iron age fort on the hill behind the site and a long bike ride round the black and white villages trail - both activities much recommended.
