Arrived in a motor home and used the field entrance which involved leaving the vehicle in the country lane close to a bend whilst my wife undid the padlocked gates, so I would recommend using the main electric gates as a safer option. Excellent friendly welcome from Michael who couldn’t do enough for us to make our stay welcome. A nice flat site with plenty of room away from the road, so very quiet and the free wi fi was a bonus. Very modern toilet facility and some outbuildings which the owners are developing for a shower block and children’s play den. Easy walking distance to the village with 2 pubs and an Indian restaurant, we tried The White Horse which did good food. In summary it is a lovely site, run by lovely people with plans to improve the facilities over time and we would definitely recommend and return ourselves in the future.
