We have just returned from a fabulous stay on this lovely CL. Bruce and Ann are great hosts and are always on hand to help and offer suggestions of places to visit. It is so helpful when you get all the' inside information' on the local area! There is also a useful information hut with plenty of leaflets about the local area and further afield. We had some difficulties when we were away and the help and support Ann and Bruce offered us certainly saved our holiday. Thank you both. The site and facilities are are immaculate. We felt very secure during this pandemic whilst using the showers and toilets as they are so well kept with plenty of antibacterial hand wash to use. There was also antibacterial hand wash at the gate, water points and chemical disposal point which was very reassuring. The gardens on the site are stunning, almost tropical with all the palm trees and are maintained beautifully. A lovely place to sit and relax in the sun. There is a huge secure dog walking field which our dog Skip really enjoyed. Pitches are all huge and hardstanding with plenty room for your car, caravan and awning. Each pitch has a picnic table which is a nice touch. The site is well placed for Saundersfoot, Tenby and Amroth, all just a couple of minutes away. We travelled a bit further afield to St. Davids and the Stackpole Estate which are both within easy reach. The National Trust Colby Woodland Gardens is also lovely place to visit. We park at the top of the hill and walk down through the woodlands to the Amroth Arms for lunch. Highly recommended! Our favourite beach was at Coppet Hall, just five minutes away form Hillcroft. The parking is very reasonable and you can walk through a series of tunnels to Wiseman's Bridge and Saundersfoot, great fun!
