Beautiful and tranquil!

Just got back from an excellent week staying here. Owner very welcoming and knowledgeable. Excellent views from this lawned site with frequent sightings of deer in front of our van! Great facilities for exercising our dogs. Would highly recommend. Lots of local river walks which our dogs and children loved! Clear recycling and emptying areas.

Llittle Gem

Just had a wonderful weekend away at this great well kept cl. owners are very welcoming and happy to give you any information about the area. the site is perfect in my opinion, it is level with fantastic views and various wild life on any of the pitches...There is an information hut with various various things to do and some maps with walks around the area.we had a great walk from the site to finglebridge about an 8 mile round trip. a well organised recycling area, grey and chemical waste area next to the hut. this is definitely on our go to site as its only 40 mins from home. one bit of advice i would strongly recommend is to contact owners about arrival time as the approach is down a country lane with passing places but would be really tight if you met another caravan or MH coming in the opposite direction. thank you for a great weekend and see you again. Perfect C L

Stayed here for eight nights and could'nt fault this CL. Very spacious, fabulous views towards Dartmoor. Good walks from site, along the river to Fingle Bridge, and beyond. Lovely owners who did everything possible to help us keep safe during this awful Covid time. So relaxing, good site for dog owners, there is a very large field for exercising your dogs. Big spacious pitches, grasswell kept and short. Perfect!

Very peacful

A very peaceful and quiet site with plenty of space and a wonderful view. There are some typically narrow Devon lanes to get to it but it's well worth the effort. It's on a hill so any walk or cycle ride involves a bit of a climb but there are some wonderfully attractive walks to he had up and down the River Teign.

The best CL we've ever stayed on

Far reaching views, sunsets, peace and quiet, along with a warm welcome and a wonderful information hut with maps etc to help make the most of the area - if I had a campsite I'd want it to be just like this one.

Lovely site

We stayed here for two nights lovely clean and level grass pitch owner was very nice and very helpfull. The fields for walking the dogs were huge and they loved it. Thd views from the site were really good. A very nice nature trail just down the road. Would definitely recommend this site and will be coming back again.

Dartmoor delights!

We stayed here for 3 nights with our dogs and we all loved it! The site is immaculate with the essentials required. Tucked away, stunning views, quiet and the sun even shone whilst there. In fact the weather was perfect. Our dogs thoroughly enjoyed the dog fields. The owner was helpful and we will definitely be back and for longer next time....Thank you!

Wow, what a view

We stayed for 4 nights in July 2018 as part of a south coast trip. 2 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs in 1 caravan. Fantastic view and a well run lovely site. Would definitely stay here again should we revisit Devon and didn't manage to fit in everything we wanted to do in this trip. Yes the narrow lane worried me, being a nervous tower, and large outfits may struggle should they meet a tractor on route but we met several vehicles and found no real problem at the passing places with our elderly 6 berth Elldis. Really glad we picked this site having trawled through all the suitable cl's in the Devon area. Friendly helpful owner, dog walk in huge adjacent sheep field and well stocked information hut with lots of leaflets and thoughtfully laminated maps to help you decide what to do with your time there, or you could just sit and relax and enjoy the view!

Superb.....

We've done this before, and aside of the wonderful British weather, just as good. Our reviews have stated...the best we've stayed at...but...We love this site. It's the nicest we've used, and the only one we've returned to. It's tidy and loved, it's close to the main route, but you feel in the middle of nowhere. Yet 20 mins down the road is Exeter, or 5 mins down the lane is the Teign walk. Nothing is too much-owned by caravaners, Geoff and Joyce know what you want in a CL. There's no frills, no nonsense and no expensive bill at the end of your stay. Oh, and you an see Dartmoor in the distance......possibly the best CL in the south west! Booking again soon 🙂

What an absolte gem of a site

We are currently staying on this site and it is fabulous. There are no toilet or shower facilities but self contained units would struggle to do better. In an idyllic setting With water and elsan available on site, the area is extremely well kept. Great access to the Teign gorge for outstanding walks both east and west.
