As previous contributors commented, do not be put off by the 2 miles of narrow lanes, it is worth it when you get to this site. A very warm welcome from Mr & Mrs Dicker, who told us we could use the two adjoining large fields to exercise the dogs. The site is level on top of the hill which drops away steeply to reveal stunning views. Plenty of recycling facilities on site with a hut containing lots of useful literature about the surrounding area. The loo emptying point was very well organised and there are two fresh water points on site, although the water pressure was a little frustrating. We treated ourselves and ate out every night, the best two pubs we found were the Red Lion at Tedburn St. Mary and the Lamb at Longdown. We shall certainly visit again soon.
Great cl
The roads on approach are narrow country lanes, but it's well worth it. Geoff is very friendly and helpful, lending us an extension lead so we could tuck away in a corner for shelter as it was windy during our stay.
The whole site is very well kept, grass is like a lawn with hardly a weed in sight! Good recycling facilities. There are also very well put together information packs and maps to borrow.
The views are superb over the Moor. We were entertained by young lambs in the field next door.
Walking was our main aim and it is superb from this site. Clifford bridge to Fingle bridge is superb and on to Drewsteignton and Castle Drogo.
Overall, a lovely, tidy site and well worth a visit.
Nice spot
Visited this week. Basic CL which is what we are always looking for.

Nice site .
Nice well maintained site with adequate facilities . Grass mown and collected regularly .Access road narrow and entrance difficult with a long outfit . I parked along the back hedge on arrival along with the other outfits and had a lovely view out of my front window . However this was soon spoilt by outfits parking along the front of the field and I spent several days looking straight at the back of a motorhome . Will I go there again , I don't think so .
Brilliant CL
Really lovely cl peace and quiet abounds very restful, owners welcoming and helpful, as caravanners they know exactly what we expect from a cl, well organised, clean and tidy, and there are 2 wecoming packs full of information. there are views and wonderful sunsets (we did have lovely weather in September ) would definitely recommend and come again

Fantastic!
Stayed for a long weekend, owners very friendly and helpful. Fantastic views across the fields, great for walking the dog! Clean and tidy water and waste area. Some lovely walks to Fingle Bridge Inn, a must! Going back again next weekend!
FANTASTIC LOCATION
Stayed here for 6 nights in August 2014. This is a beautiful site with wide views towards Dartmoor. The owners are friendly and provide each pitch with a package containing leaflets of things to do in the area and walks. The site is in pristine condition and well laid out. The roads to the site are narrow but have many passing places. If you follow the owners instructions and not sat nav you will easily find your way.

Very nice
Stayed here for a weekend in July 2014. Arrived late afternoon and set up on a level pitch with a short walk to water and waste facilities. We were met by the owners and were given an information pack for the weekend. Some of the leaflets were quite old, but I'm sure they're still valid. The views are pleasant and across fields to the moors. The sheep in the adjacent fields are switched from one field to the other each day so the field might be empty which is great for walking the dog.
Access is quite narrow as you approach the CL, but there were no problems as there are a couple of passing places. Mr Dicker asked us when we were departing and suggested that we could stay all afternoon if we wanted to avoid an incoming van which was arriving mid afternoon. This avoided a potential head to head in the lane and meant we had an extra full day in the area. Really good.
