We have just come back from a 12 night stay at this CL & loved it. Yes, several pitches are on a slope, but the owner provides levellers & we had no problem whatsoever. We also had an awning and it was fine on a slope. There is much to do in the area, either on foot, on a bicycle or by car. The site is conveniently placed for Tissington village, the Tissington trail as well as Dovedale, The village of Ilam, all of which can be accessed on foot from the site. This is such a beautiful area & the views from the site are lovely. There is some traffic noise from the adjacent road, but it never spoilt the enjoyment of our stay. We would happily return to this site in the future.
