We've stayed at this site quite a number of times - why I've not reviewed it before is a bit of a mystery! It really is a great get away site. Easy access from the motorway. Great to walk down to the sea front and stroll along the path towards Weston-super-Mare. The Chinese take-away along this way has now changed hands and is now just a chippy - wasn't that brilliant anyway! Carry on up the hill and you will come across the New Castle restaurant. This is lovely place to eat & drink. From here there is the access to the woods that have a footpath leading to Birnbeck Pier & and onto Weston-super-Mare seafront. Walk to the right and stop at the little cafe (does gf scones) and on to Sand Point - well worth the effort. If you fancy an easy option just walk to Sand Bay front and catch an open top bus to Weston-super-Mare, lovely. There are a lot of out of town retail outlets around the area between the motorway and the site - including Sainsburys if you like to stock up before arrival. There is also Davans Caravan Sales & Spares just off the motorway, on the right.
