Okay, the bank holiday weather helped, but this is a fantastic CL. The welcome was great, very helpful in pointing stuff out and then left us to it. This really is a great little place, a lovely orchard in front of the farm house, really well maintained with good services. The owners parents (owners were away), could't have been more helpful. They give you a small pack with lots of info in it, and you just return this when you leave. A sunny evening, under the ash tree with a chilled glass of white wine, it really was idyllic. Easy to find, no real narrow lanes etc. Yes you get some aircraft overhead but it isn't intrusive, and Sand Bay (dog friendly all year) isn't far away.
