We have just returned from 3 nights here and will definitely be going back in the near future. It has everything we wanted: beautifully mown camping pitches, loads of space, excellent walks from the site and a 20 minutes walk into Ludlow. Having a largish motor home and two lively dogs we need everything on our doorstep, so when we pitch-up and have put up our 'garden' for the dogs, we stay put and will be walking from the site. The walking was wonderful, Forest and trails, hills and valleys, streams and views. Dogs loved it as all off lead. The walk to Ludlow is along a footpath then the main road. The pavement isn't the widest but with COVID and social distancing it was still ok. Ludlow is beautiful and although some of the business were still closed, there were loads of places open to eat and drink. The site is very nicely looked after. Elizabeth, the owner is very friendly and meets you on arrival and takes you to your pitch. The pitches are very private and large. You have your own tap, though this this isn't necessarily right by your pitch and the recycling is very organised. We couldn't hear any traffic noise, the TV reception was good and so was our phone signal. It was very COVID safe, which was reassuring as this was our first outing this summer so a little bit tentative. We will be back!
