Although the summer and autumn was wet the hard standing was good. The owners were very welcoming and offered help if needed. We stayed during a very windy time, yet the awning stayed where it should be! There was a fair amount of road noise in the morning, from the road which runs immediately behind and above the caravan. In the evening there was a constant sound of traffic from below the site, where the main roads run. Aircraft from the nearby airport, we're also noticeable. But maybe we noticed these noises because we live in a quieter rural area ourselves. The return to the main road needs a cautious but speedy turn with fingers crossed that nothing is coming around the blind corner. But all in all, it is a very well run and friendly location.
