Invisible owners!

We stayed here for one night in April. The site comprises a huge field, so lots of space, water available at each EHU. The field is level but the grass was very long, so luckily it was dry. We parked at the top end of the field. There was no one else there, apart from a fenced off area in the middle occupied by two very interested horses. The showers and toilets are located in 2 portakabins on the edge of the field, quite a long walk from where we had pitched. They were clean but needed more care and attention. The light in the Ladies shower didn't work and the Gents shower was out of order. There was a random large cardboard box in the corner of the Ladies shower. It is a very peaceful and quiet site, but I feel that a bit more care and attention would raise it from good to great. In the morning we had to play 'hunt the owner'! When I had booked the owner said he would come and see us but didn't. We went down to the main house, where there was a confusing array of doors to knock on. It appears they also have a holiday let business there. The first door I tried was answered by a young man clad only in underpants, who said he knew nothing as he was on holiday! Eventually found the right door, and the owners. Once again, a bit more attention to detail, such as a sign, would have been helpful. Owners would only accept cash payment.
