Just spent four nights here and really enjoyed our stay. Owners were very friendly and accommodating. Very relaxed about our two dogs staying, which is always good. Plenty of walking from the site for them. Daughters loved the alpacas and the owner very kindly let them take them for a walk which they thoroughly enjoyed. Definitely a site we would hope to return to one day. Thank you
'ESCAPE TO THE COUNTRY'
A nice site with easy access ,satnav told us in the village but it is just outside.
Friendly owners who were available if needed.
Well cut grass, slightly sloping depends how and where you pitch.
Alpacas were interesting to watch!!
Good area for walking
Shops in Belper, Alfreton and the Mansfield outlet for retail therapy
A site we would return to ,£15 pn.
lovely site
just spent 2 nights on this lovely site, very friendly owners pitches not that sloping, very well spaced out, the Mrs & the grand daughter loved going over to fuss the alpacas & ducks & geese & chickens, also saw the peacocks.
Kids loved it
Lovely CL site, friendly and informal. Ideal for family's in my opinion. Farm has lots of Alpaca's, plus chickens, geese, ducks, peacocks and pheasants. Kids got to fed the Alpaca's and also take them for a walk. All animals are on the outskirts of the CL site, but all can be seen from the caravan. Play park within 15-20 walk. Will definitely be returning, kids had a blast.
Thanks for a great weekend, one that the grandkids wont forget for a while.
Lovely little site, very friendly owners.
We stayed for a few days and really enjoyed the area.the site does slope a little in places. The owners, David and Julie made us feel very welcome and we loved the alpacas. We will definitely be back. Thank you.
Lovely
Made a last minute emergency booking. They made everything really easy, told to just pull on and pitch wherever you want. They don't bother you but can easily be found if you need them. Some people want to be welcomed, but they are not there at our beck and call! This is a great well maintained site, in a lovely area, with animals to entertain you, and hosts who leave you to relax. Yes you can hear the A38 but that's because you are near the A38!. We will definitely be back. Thank you

Nice people
Hi, arrived on site easy directions from book got pitched up then went to see owners Julie and Dave really relaxed and laid back told us what we needed to know (Elsan point) eggs £1 per half dozen, and a local walk we may be interested in that's it easy as that if only more sites were like this, some people have mentioned about road noise from a38 nearby but it's nothing really it hasn't put us off booking for a 4 nighter in aug . Must say a visit to the black boy pub nearby is a must great food and nice atmosphere ,see you in aug
Lovely...
This was the first CL we have stayed at...and we loved it. From the welcoming phone call when we booked, to the lovely surroundings, it was a very good experience. Our children (especially our 18 month old) loved the chickens, ducks, geese and alpacas...we loved the peace and quiet. The site is safe and secure and the owners are very friendly, answering all our questions and queries. It is a great location for lots of things to do, shops nearby and pubs that look great. We will be back again...thank you for making us feel so welcome!
Great site for Derby and South Peak District
Stayed on the site for a long weekend in September, great site for visiting Derby and south peak district. Loved the alpacas and birds and had a warm welcome from the hosts. A gem of a site

Great Find
We visit Nottingham area regularly, but only just found this little treasure as it comes under Derbyshire. We stayed for 2 weeks enjoying all the area has to offer including Goose Fair, fantastic when you're nearly 70! The site is lovely and clean and tidy and the owner, Dave, and the alpacas, ducks, peacocks and many other animals are all very welcoming. Could have quite easily have stayed longer. Hope to be back the Spring.
