An excellent site in every respect

My wife and I have been using this site as a base for our birdwatching adventures in the area with RSPB Mersehead just down the road and WWT Caerlaverock not that far away. Everything about the site is perfect for us and we can thoroughly recommend it as a destination.

Not the impression I got when I visited last year.  The long access roads through the estate are in poor condition, the parking is part of the public car-park and was in need of a lot of remedial ground works, and whole impression was of darkness and neglect.

Just shows how different our members see things!

Not much different to most CLs in that respect. We enjoyed our stay, and will be back. Your comments on access and parking are valid, but we like our "rustic" sites 🙂
