We booked here for 3 nights while touring the area but stayed for an extra night, as it was so nice. Excellent hard standing pitch for our motorhome. It is a lovely open south facing site, with views over the countryside. We enjoyed watching the cows coming and going to the milking parlour (milking can be viewed by prior arrangement) There is occasional noise from the A170 -usually from motorbikes or "boy racers". but generally very quiet at night. It is a very convenient site for exploring the North Yorkshire Moors , Thirsk ( Herriot Museum was fascinating) and Castle Howard (magnificent). We will be back!
