Ease of arrival/welcome

Tranquille but in need of serious care & attention.

On arrival owner advised us she’d see us when we’d found a pitch. The site is very very tight & couldn’t have pitched without a motor mover. When the owner arrived there was no explanation regarding facilities we were handed a A4 paper of rules & where we could find other amenities. Trying to find amenities the site is very very untidy/scruffy & on finding the chemical waste, we were very shocked as it was basic & stank, thank God the days weren’t hot! The cost of £16, we believe is too expensive especially for the state of the site. We found though, the site is very quite which we appreciated & it was great to hear the Robins singing during the day. Also on a positive note there are some great walks, especially along the Louth Navigation to Louth (5.5 miles). We went on a Friday & found it was market day, we managed to site outside a bistro for food, which was excellent.

I don't suppose we'll be seeing you again then, happen as well because the price is going up to cover the cost of electric and water usage for starters  laughing.
