A Stopover

We stayed at this site for just a couple of nights, mainly because it was en route and easily accessed from the M5 and it was advertised as having hardstanding. The site was easy to find, albeit the last mile was along a narrow back road which did see some traffic. There were a few passing places but with hedges and corners to see over and around it wasn't the easiest last mile. The actual entrance to the CL is very good. Just before rising a hill ,where the farmhouse can be seen on the right, there is a wooden gate on the left with Keybridge Farm written on it. This also allows the unit to be pulled slightly off the road whilst you open the two sets of gates. The site stands on a hill and the views towards Worcestershire are impressive, but the pitches are set into the a sloping hill. There are 6 pitches, all of which do have hard core/gravel down. However the hardstanding aspect is only as wide as the caravan or Motorhome itself and your step or water buckets will be on grass and usually slightly raised. In wet weather you will still be walking in mud. The water and electric points are right on the pitch and waste is disposed into the hedge. The elision point is functional.Your vehicle will have to be parked either in front of your unit or up by the gates. Awnings will be a problem due to the sloping nature. The area was quiet at night, although during the day it might be noisier as there is an industrial estate within half a mile and can be seen from site. The owner was very amenable and the price is acceptable. I am likely to use this site again but only for a short stop.
