A top-quality site with security, gravel entrance, a very large grass area, good wi-fi and an EHU, tap and bins on each pitch. A small hut includes folders with a multitude of local walks and other useful information. The many footpaths are generally well maintained and signed and a pleasure to walk. The site is a very short walk from the centre of Boxford which is an interesting and attractive village with several small shops, a very good café and pub. The nearest town, Hadleigh, is a 2-hour cross-country walk away and has a Morrisons whose carpark will take motorhomes. Quiet country roads and gentle hills offer good cycling. Melford Hall (NT) and Lavenham are within reach. The site is overlooked from a distance by the owner’s handsome new bungalow which will be screened in time as the hedging matures. There is a tiny bit of daytime traffic noise from the A1071 but it does not detract from the site’s peaceful rural location.
