Spent 4 nights in October. View from the pitches towards Borrowdale is fantastic. Site is very quiet. Somewhat muddy in wet weather. Access is easy from the A591, though you come across the site entrance at very short notice when driving from Keswick (More detailed directions are available on Kiln Hill's own website). Under new ownership and management since August 2019. We received a warm welcome and were invited to choose from the available pitches, which are all on a slope. Approach to customers is friendly and relaxed. We only used the EHU, waste disposal and fresh water facilities so didn't verify the other facilities advertised.
