Just what we wanted

My wife and I were looking for a site near Battle so we could visit Battle and do the battlefield tour. This site was idealy close and had everything we needed. Just a mile outside battle, yet in peaceful rural countryside. Enjoyed our visit to Batte and Kinica, recommend both. Despite being February and needing the heating on high, no problems with electric supply. On so many sites you put heating on high and the electric trips. Unfortunatly we arrived after lots of rain and found a soft spot for a wheel to sink in. But Ken, the proprietor, and his mate pulled us out with his 4x4. Nice helpful guy. I liked the 'No problem, if this does not work, we will get the tractor'. We enjoyed out visit to battle and will be back later in the year to repeat the tour with a couple of grandchildren. Looking forward to staying in Kinica again when the weather is better. My wife's only regret was she failed to get pictures of the entertainment of us being towed backwards out.

Great little site

The owner is friendly and helpful. The site is a lovely flat enclosed field with electrics well positioned around the field. The electrics are nice and powerful so don't trip when you turn the kettle on. The local town is only a few minutes drive and the sea only about 20 mins away. I will certainly be going here again.

A nice spot for a few days of peace and sightseeing

A very lovely small site, rustic & basic but with easy access to all local amenities and sightseeing. Battle is a lovely town and we also visited the beach at Bexhill ... wonderful for the dogs! The site is level but we still needed ramps for a perfect pitch. We will return, it will be great for a reunion with the family or to meet friends
