Firstly we must emphasize that this is a beautifully kept and very spacious site. All good CL amenities and very peaceful, being far from a public road. However we had a problem with two dog owners during our stay who failed to keep their dogs on leads, allowing them to roam the site and relieve themselves where they wished. We spoke to Ros about this issue and she assured us that she would remind them of their responsibilities. Despite this, the dog owners proceeded to exercise their animals by throwing balls down the site to be retrieved. When we challenged them about this we were met with a string of abuse. It did however result in their dogs being kept on leads for the rest of their stay, in accordance with Caravan Club guidelines. What a pity that some caravanners think that the rules do not apply to them. Most dog owners have more consideration!! Perhaps a sign at the gate would remind them of the policy for dogs.
