Ideal Touring Base
This was our second stay on this charming CL. The directions need to be read carefully and keep an eye out for the distances, our milometer didn't entirely agree with those in the directions. Also need to note the CL doesn't display CL signs at its entrance.
The CL takes five outfits comfortably and has EHU points around two sides so regardless where you pitch you will be within reach of one. Fresh water is on the CL and the elsan is a few yards up a grass path to a bespoke disposal point , next to a toilet for guests use. Rubbish and the usual recycling point is by the entrance to the CL. The owner lives in the adjacent bungalow and leaves you to yourself. Close to Bere Regis where you can obtain fuel and food with ease. Wareham is just a few more miles away.
The Tank Museum is a short distance away and if you are in to military history is well worth a visit. Corfe Castle, Wareham, Monkey World are all within a stones throw.
