Calm & relaxing

Calm, relaxing, tranquil. Some noise from aircraft during the day, but not at night, and definitely NOT intrusive. Otherwise most noise comes from the birds - saw over 12 species in our 4 night visit without really trying. Large site with pitches on well mown grass that seems to be free draining (had rain while staying) Pitches are a good size. Site is surrounded by trees and contains lots of shrubs good for pollinators. Some of the area has been allowed to "go wild" with paths mown through the grass - lots of wild flowers & different grasses - take your wild flower book if you are not good at ID! Gnomes to visit in the woods! Please note that the directions refer to the junction between the B489 & the A4146 - the latter is now a B road - but site is still easy to find. Owner friendly & pleasant. Good for visit to Bletchley Park - Home of the Codebreakers, and also the National Museum of Computing. Lots of walks from near the site.
