Fabulous CL

This is a beautifully maintained CL in a great peaceful location. Fully serviced pitches and a friendly owner. Would definitely recommend.

An absolute gem of a CL

If you are looking for peace and quiet, stunning scenery, fantastic hosts and the ability to get to get to places of interest, then look no further. The pitches are HUGE and very well looked after. You can guarantee some good banter with Bruce and Ann is always extremely helpful.

Perfect CL, blissfully quiet

We received a very warm and friendly welcome from the owners, Mr and Mrs Colwell, who were helpful in pointing out places of interest and walks. The site is very well maintained with immaculate grass and lovely views. You may need levelling blocks as it’s gently sloping from rear to front. It’s so quiet and peaceful. The only noise is mostly bird song with the odd car, occasional jet overhead, and the sound of a grouse. Absolute bliss. It’s a perfect site and very highly recommended if you’re in the area.

Excellent site and lovely owners

Easy access along road with passing places but very quiet road and you have excellent visibility. We never had need to use a passing place at all. The CL is a beautiful lawned field, grass cuttings collected and with lovely friendly owners. Very quiet site with the sound of birdsong. EE phone signal excellent for calls and internet usage.

Great cl

Just spent my second visit here this year. Such a lovely site and owners are so welcoming and helpful. Lots of places to visit whether you prefer beach or woodland walks. I would certainly recommend and will be visiting again!

perfect

What an amazing CL. The hard work that has gone into making this site perfect speaks for itself. Everything a caravaner could wish for, perfect facilities, space, plus an immaculately kept site. The caravan and motorhome club should be proud to be able to offer its members the use of this very well cared for little gem in Scotland. Thank you.

Superb Site

Very well thought out and landscaped site which is kept immaculate. Plenty of space between pitches, with water tap right next to the electric hook up and grey water disposal close by with handy concrete ramp so no need to lift the waste master. Lovely views and ideal for our three dogs as short walk along the very quiet minor road leads to a lane taking you up into the back of Pluscarden Forestry with plenty of tracks to choose from, so ideal for first thing in the morning. About a miles drive takes you to Torrieson Forestry car park for a choice of walks. We were lucky enough to see hares in the fields alongside every morning which was wonderful. Very relaxing and peaceful though there are plenty of places to visit within a short distance: Findhorn Beach where we had a nice pub lunch at the Crown & Anchor, Lossiemouth West Beach walk to Covesea Lighthouse (open Saturday afternoons) with beach café right beside car park, Spynie Palace, Duffus Castle, Balvenie Castle, Fochabers Winding Walks after which we had a lovely lunch at Gordon Castle and toured their historic walled garden which is being renovated, Hopeman with lovely sandy beach and colourful beach huts to name but a view. All places mentioned dog friendly. Thoroughly recommend and we will certainly be back.
