This site is a wonderful little gem.  Elaine is a lovely owner, very helpful and friendly and once you have been welcomed you are left alone to enjoy your stay. This is a busy working farm so you do get some noise from the tractors but this does't spoil the peace and tranquility of the setting. The site overlooks a valley and the views are stunning, with Lundy in the distance on clear days. The Old Smithy Inn is two minutes walk around the corner, although we haven't been in, we've heard many good things about the food.  For walkers this site is a dream being only a short walk from the coast path and Welcombes little beach. Just behind the farm house is a lovely big woodland with so many different walks that we haven't managed to explore them all. Not to mention there are many different walks around Welcombe through and around farmland. Fantastic for dog walking. This site is one of our favourites that we like to revisit often.
