We arrived at this CL with short notice having been insulted at the one that we had orginally booked. The owner was friendly and welcoming. The site has a hard standing area as well as grass and facilities are basic. The site has a pleasant open setting with views over fields with horses grazing in the adjacent field (when we were there in June and July). Access is fairly easy and there is plenty of space. It is great for the ferry as it is only a 3 or 4 mile trundle down the hill to the docks. We also used this site on our return from France and it was good knowing that when we got off the ferry that we only had a fifteen minute drive back up the hill. I would recommend this site particularly as an overnight stop for the ferry.
