We booked one day at this new CL and must have been lucky because once we arrived all five pitches were occupied . The owners are very nice people and Newton by the Sea / Low Newton is quite easy to find especially easy in a campervan. The owner came round for the fee and we had a nice walk to the beach following the signs the site. Each pitch has hard gravel and a hook point and also a night light at each pitch. To approach the CL find The Joiners Arms and take a left fork . Heres where you need to be careful if towing because the lane narrows to single track for about 400 yards . Best to get the passenger to walk ahead and signal when its clear because passing places are ok for camper van but might be difficult with a caravan . Once through though its well worth the journey. At night its very quiet on your specious open pitch . Finally the sun going down is just a spectacular show for 360 degrees . Stunning landscape views seem to go for miles. We Live on the coast at sunderland and have never seen such a stunning sunset . The beach is also fabulous. A real find this place... Pitch fees are worth every penny and we will be back some time soon.
