We stayed at Little Nook Farm for just one night in order to break our journey to Leeds. On arrival we were immediately greeted by the owner who gave us a very warm welcome. He took the time to show us where the recycling bins were, the drinking water supply and the ttoilet and shower room, all close to where pitched. The views from the site are spectacular and a five minute walk down the road takes you to the Hare and Hounds pub. The pub specialises in Timothy Taylor hand-pulled beer.If you sample all the different Timothy Taylor’s it will take you longer than 5 minutes to walk back!! The food is also excellent - good home cooked pub grub. We were able to buy fresh hens’ eggs from the farm and if your taste runs to duck eggs you can buy those too. There is also homemade jam for sale. There is excellent TV reception We thoroughly recommend this site,though being somewhat selfish we hope that there will always be place left for us.
