This site is advertised with toilet and shower and we were told two days before arrival that these facilities would not be open as their small team did not have time to keep on top of cleaning them (because of COVID). Yet despite going there from a much bigger and busier Caravan Club site (Buxton) where there were no additional cleaning or COVID measures (other than wearing a mask and distancing in indoor areas) and telling this to Steve the CL owner, he still did not open the facilities, yet he did have time do prep his own caravan for sale and do the gardening round the CL. No reduction in price for lack of facilities and a poor attitude to customer satisfaction. Went on to stay at another site on the way home with no COVID restrictions except for limiting numbers in toilet blocks and yet their facilities were spotless, like Buxton. Don’t understand why there are such mixed standards or attitudes.
