Warm Welcome on a Cold Weekend

We stayed at the site on the 29th of November for 2 nights as a first outing with our new Van. We received a very warm welcome on arrival along with a tour of the facilities, the shower room/loo looked spotless, however as it was so cold we wimped out of using it and stuck with our own facilities! The site commands spectacular views and is a very short walk from the Hare and Hounds pub, we didn't eat there but the beers and wines seemed well kept and they are very dog friendly. A 20 minute walk down hill takes you into Hebden Bridge itself which is lovely, there are some nice pubs (especially the "Micro" pub, Calans) and we ate at the White Lion and also at Aya Sophia Greek Restaurant, with food and service being good quality and value at both. If you don't fancy the walk back up the hill, it'll cost you £5 in a taxi or there is a regular bus service. There is nothing negative about this site at all, and we will return.
