Our third stay at this site. Marvelous views and immediate access from the site to a network of footpaths over the moors, or for a more energetic walk to Hardcastle Crags and Gibson Mill. A surprisingly good bus service runs from the site down into Hebden Bridge. The site is very well kept. As we were advised on booking the shower and toilet facilities were understandably unavailable due to Covid, but water and chemical disposal are convenient. The owners are very welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area. Follow the provided directions to get to the site rather than using SatNav. Even with these directions, the A6033 up out of Hebden Bridge appears a bit daunting with a steep climb and parked cars reducing it to single lane in some parts, but in practice it's no problem.
