7 days stay in end of October

We just spent 7 nights at Little Paddock and had a great time. Access roads were a doddle and the electric main gate gives a nice secure feeling. Wendy opened the gate and came to greet us to show us the available pitches and was flexible as to where we went with only one pitch reserved for some regular customers (a good sign in itself). Facilities on the site are fine with a nice clean toilet and shower block, good hook up, drinking water tap next to the toilet block, and all the usual disposal facilities. I must admit though, the grey water and chemical waste could've been better. It looked like folk were using the grey water disposal for emptying the toilet and the chemical waste was a bog sat over a drain that you poored into. We've stayed on only 3 CL's now and this setup was the least clean and well setup for easy discreet use. However, the Little Paddock site is a lovely picturesque place and has a real zen garden feel to it with a few little shelters and log burners for the evenings. My favourite thing was the beautiful Weeping Willow trees about the place! Couple of other things to note as I feel these reviews are here to be honest and helpful for caravanners to make the most informed decision possible. The site is very close to a very fast dual carriageway and there seems to be no shortage of boy racers and motorbikes. They go fast and loud into the evening but it will only bother you if your after real peace and seclusion. It's not so noisy it disturbs sleep, just not as quiet as you might like. The site is next to a kennel though they only bark at feeding time which didn't bother us. It says on the CC site that WIFI is available but in fact is only available if you have a signal booster of stand outside near the owners house. We'd stay again if passing through.
