The Little Paddock, Ringwood ticks all the boxes...

The Little Paddock, near Ringwood, Hampshire is one of the Caravan Club’s Certified LocalPlacesOfInterest (CL) campsite which ticks all the boxes in terms of its facilities, including swimming pool and bar, and its warm welcome from its proprietors. The Little Paddock offers a camping field with its five pitches on three sides and although I’m not a regular ‘CLer’ and more used to hard standings for my motorhome rather than risking grass in the UK following winter rains, the grass pitches were fine April ’14, although a bit sloping. The toilet, wash-room and shower (one of each for men and women) are newly re-furbed, clean, heated and work well. Overall a very pleasant site (if a bit pricey) for a short stay to see the area with the downsides being the road noise from the Bournemouth Spur Road which may or may not be a night-time problem depending how light you sleep; and the adjacent road to The Little Paddock which has no pavement and is clearly a restricting hazard when walking, either day or night. A rear exit from the property is available to Ashley Health, but I don't think pubs or localk shops would feature on this route?
